UMKC POLISCI-210

Section 1. The right of citizens of the United States, who are eighteen years of age or older, to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of age.
Section 2. The Congress shall have the power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.

The voting age is 18.

I'll admit, I am not registered to vote. I fall in that percentage of the amount of 18-24 year olds that do not involve themselves with much political fashion. However, it is supposed to be a requirement for all citizens to at least register. What are the consequences if I don't?
This website gives me ten reasons why I should vote. I understand voting is important, especially taking a look at the swing voter in the supreme court justice system.

Preach Perez! I know it is important to vote, I just don't involve myself in the politics of it. It's power and who is able to kiss more babies. I agree and disagree with both political standpoints because I don't identify as any party or separation.
