The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people

If any one act gets in the way of any other person's rights, it is unjust and unlawful. Rights cannot/does not mean to infringe upon another's. Simply put, your rights cannot impose on any one else's. 

I don't think I agree with this completely nor do I disagree completely. As living creatures of this earth, the basic rights to life, liberty, and property are essentials in surviving. However it is a circle of doubt if ones rights impose on another. Take for example the right of a gay couple to legally be wed in any given state. Many argue that this "right "opposes their rights and beliefs. Well, doesn't that also mean that they themselves are imposing their beliefs and "rights"on the gay couple? It's a standstill issue because people are not ones to just accept things and move on to more important issues in crisis. They stick their noses in a business that doesn't concern them in the least and has no effect directly on their life. Civil rights matters such as the example given are one of the most talked about platforms in this country because people a)do not like change and b) do not like different change that they don't personally agree with.

The rights given as examples in this computer voice generated video also gives the fact that there are unwritten rights, unspecified rights that still apply to U.S. citizens so long as any given right does not put any one person in danger or crisis. 

So what does and what does not fall under the 9th? Do abortion rights or birth control rights or any rights to be thought of fall under the 9th? It's a silent amendment, unspecific. If it is implied how is it known?




Bill of rights are to keep limits on rights.We have free will and self survival.It's a confusing matter in what exactly our rights as a citizen are and what they are not. This video says we have a virtual circle. Are we equal?
